Marion Bay beach is a magnificent lazy 5 hour return walk on Tasmania's east coast.
The beach is a playground of nature, and I have never seen a beach with so many shells.
I love this image of my friend Dave, who is a local and has introduced me to many opportunity's in this fine place he calls home.
About Anthony Davey
Anthony is a long time photographer who works out of Tasmania (the little island at the bottom of Australia and home to the endangered Tasmanian Devil), The best way to express his home state for the world stage is to call it the Scotland of the southern hemisphere, Tasmanians enjoy the freshest vegetables, fish, meat, whisky, etc, it is well known for it's striking natural beauty and untouched wilderness, rugged mountain ranges, pristine beaches and coastal fishing communities, it is a bushwalkers paradise, eco tourism is popping up everywhere, the inhabited lanscape is dotted with fine 1800's sandstone architecture which is itself a postcard of its' brooding savage colonial past.
