I took this image a couple of years ago and have kept coming back to it, there's something in there i'm really diggin'.
Taken up around Coles Bay in Tasmania one evening as the sun was setting and a storm approached from the north. I was out on the beach walking off a glass of wine too many when I saw this, make mental note to self....one glass to many is not a bad thing after all......the creative juices were flowing and left & right side of the brain were working beautifully together, this is the result.............
Anthony is a long time photographer who works out of Tasmania (the little island at the bottom of Australia and home to the endangered Tasmanian Devil), The best way to express his home state for the world stage is to call it the Scotland of the southern hemisphere, Tasmanians enjoy the freshest vegetables, fish, meat, whisky, etc, it is well known for it's striking natural beauty and untouched wilderness, rugged mountain ranges, pristine beaches and coastal fishing communities, it is a bushwalkers paradise, eco tourism is popping up everywhere, the inhabited lanscape is dotted with fine 1800's sandstone architecture which is itself a postcard of its' brooding savage colonial past.
