From my quiet place in the Tasmanian wilderness, and is where I go to escape the maddening crowds of modern life, I usually only get up here for a few days, a couple of times a year and tends to be around late summer and into autumn as the weather is rather stable and becomes very poor any later than easter, being far to cold in winter and obnoxiously windy in spring.
.....but I really love the time I spend here with my friends and camera.....
Anthony is a long time photographer who works out of Tasmania (the little island at the bottom of Australia and home to the endangered Tasmanian Devil), The best way to express his home state for the world stage is to call it the Scotland of the southern hemisphere, Tasmanians enjoy the freshest vegetables, fish, meat, whisky, etc, it is well known for it's striking natural beauty and untouched wilderness, rugged mountain ranges, pristine beaches and coastal fishing communities, it is a bushwalkers paradise, eco tourism is popping up everywhere, the inhabited lanscape is dotted with fine 1800's sandstone architecture which is itself a postcard of its' brooding savage colonial past.
