This image evolved from a stint living in Newcasltle, NSW, Australia. I used to manage photolabs years ago, anyway I was driving home and noticed the elements all falling into place for a lovely image, pulled over and walked around in the mud until it all sort of popped within the lens, serendipity comes to mind.....

Anthony is a long time photographer who works out of Tasmania (the little island at the bottom of Australia and home to the endangered Tasmanian Devil), The best way to express his home state for the world stage is to call it the Scotland of the southern hemisphere, Tasmanians enjoy the freshest vegetables, fish, meat, whisky, etc, it is well known for it's striking natural beauty and untouched wilderness, rugged mountain ranges, pristine beaches and coastal fishing communities, it is a bushwalkers paradise, eco tourism is popping up everywhere, the inhabited lanscape is dotted with fine 1800's sandstone architecture which is itself a postcard of its' brooding savage colonial past.
